Described as the “Swiss Army Knife” of aircraft, the Swiss-built Pilatus PC-12 is an economical turboprop that can efficiently carry nine passengers and/or cargo to destinations across Alaska, Canada and the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. Equipped with a 1200 hp Pratt & Whitney engine and sleek design, the PC-12 is built for speeds up to 300 mph, has a range up to 1600 miles, maximum operating altitude of 30,000 feet and can operate from short airstrips when required. This aircraft is also equipped with state-of-the-art dual WAAS Garmin GTN 625 and 750 touchscreen GPS. Our PC-12 provides high-resolution moving maps, advanced navigation, flight planning, and traffic alerting, further increasing safety, capability and reliability.
In addition to the versatility and excellent safety record of a standard PC-12, the Alaska Seaplanes PC-12/47 model has a greater max take-off weight, with an ability to carry up to 530 lbs. more than other models. Our aircraft is also comfortably equipped with a large, pressurized cabin and optimal seating configuration (every seat is both an aisle and a window seat) for business or leisure travel. The star of our fleet, the PC-12 is best in class when it comes to turbine aircraft performance.
With spacious and well-appointed new interiors, our Supervans carry up to nine passengers in comfort. And with a fully IFR-capable Capstone avionics suite, our Supervan offers unparalleled safety and reliability.
Our Supervan's large cargo pod is an ideal choice for sports teams, fishermen, skiers, and snowboarders. With a roughly 3,000 lb. useful load, the bigger engine, and the ability to clear out seats when needed, our Supervan is the best choice for serious freight hauling. And because the engines are new, it actually burns less fuel than a conventional Caravan, so we carry more freight at a lower per-pound cost!

This airplane is an ideal choice for adventurers, fishermen, hunters, and campers to travel to communities without airports or to a mountain lake or other areas with a water landing. The sturdily-built Beaver was designed to carry a lot of weight and operate effectively on either wheels or floats. Alaska Seaplanes' Beavers all operate on straight floats from April into November for maximum payload, and generally spend the winter warm and dry in one of our hangars. All our Beavers have advanced Capstone avionics packages with ADS-B real-time positioning capability.
With an ample useful load and the ability to carry up to six passengers, our Beavers are the perfect airplane for ferrying you to wilderness camping destinations—remote lakes, Forest Service cabins, islands, and rivers.
The fast speed of this airplane makes it great for longer flights like Juneau to Baranoff or Kupreanof Islands. And with high wings, this airplane is perfect for flightseeing over the Mendenhall Glacier and Juneau ice field, or majestic Glacier Bay.
Making a quick hop to a Forest Service cabin, or fishing on a remote lake? We can get you there.
Why Charter Alaska Seaplanes?
Group Transportation
Charter flights make it easy to move groups efficiently between communities, lodges, and destinations across Southeast Alaska. Whether coordinating travel for an event, tour group, or organization, charter service allows everyone to travel together on a schedule that works for you.
Remote Access
Many of Southeast Alaska’s most incredible destinations are not accessible by road or scheduled air service. Charter flights provide direct access to remote cabins, fishing lodges, wilderness locations, and coastal communities.
Business & Organizational Travel
Businesses, government agencies, and organizations often use charter flights to reach multiple locations in a single day or travel outside of scheduled flight times. Charter service provides flexibility and efficiency for professional travel needs.
Custom Itineraries
Some trips require more flexibility than a standard flight schedule allows. Charter flights can be arranged to match your timeline, route, and destination needs — whether that means multiple stops, remote pickups, or unique travel plans.
